Amalia plans to go to community college and then transfer into a nursing program. She would like to become a NICU RN. In 2001 Amalia was born 3 months early weighing less than 2 lbs and spent 81 days at Sutter’s NICU. She would love to be an inspiration to parents of preemie’s and give back for the love and care she received when she was born.
