Dauphin County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) swore into service three more community volunteers recently to represent foster children in the county child dependency system! They will represent the best interests of foster kids in court. A judge appoints the CASAs to a child's case and they act as another 'set of eyes and ears' for the judge who must decide where to place the children for their safety and success. Many of these kids and teens have been abused and/or neglected, so a CASA's volunteer service is much needed and appreciated. Reach out to CASA to volunteer! 717-888-9973 New training class starts in June!
Thank you!
