I am honored to nominate Ms. Jameka Deveaux, a third-grade teacher at Orange Center Elementary School, for her outstanding dedication and impact on her students.

Ms. Deveaux brings an exceptional blend of warmth, patience, and high expectations into her classroom. She creates an environment where every child feels seen, valued, and capable of success. My son has grown not only academically under her guidance, but also in confidence and curiosity qualities that will stay with him far beyond this school year.

What truly sets Ms. Deveaux apart is her ability to connect with each student as an individual. She recognizes their strengths, supports them through challenges, and inspires a genuine love of learning. Her communication with families is thoughtful and consistent, making parents feel like true partners in their child’s education.
