This is my fifth grade team at SunRidge elementary school in Winter Garden. Although I am a member of this team, my son is also with fifth grade and has thrived this year under the instruction of what we call the ‘triad’. This is the first year we have tried this at our school, one teacher teaches ELA and Social studies, one teachers math and the other teaches science and does intervention. My partner teaches math and science, while I teach ELA and social studies. Our team has worked so hard to support our students and make sure that they not only learn at school, but feel loved by their teachers. This is Allison Weidl, Jenna Musarskiy, Heidi Kirk, David Puritz and myself (Alisha Weidl). Yes, Allison and I are related. We married brothers that are also apart of the OCPS team.
