Luisa Mendoza is an incredible and involved educator at The Shepherd’s School in Pahokee, Florida. She teaches a combined fifth and sixth grade class and is the school’s STEM Club sponsor. Miss Mendoza is always looking to incorporate new information and experiences into set curriculum, including outdoor adventures to examine flora and fauna—including classifying insects and lizards. She actively communicates with parents daily to keep us informed and looks for ways to help each student reach their potential. She never gives up on any child! My son John and the community is incredibly blessed to have her.
