This morning's storm, in Boone, blew up pretty quickly. I could see the wind was out of the SW, so my east windows were a good vantage point. I grabbed my phone just to catch a bit of the wind & rain, then stopped. Then for some reason I restarted the recording....just in time to capture this lightning strike down on the corner east of me. Looks like it hit that big old maple tree. Took a few minutes for me to stop shaking!
